Global Finance magazine, one of the world’s leading finance magazines, has chosen Citigroup as Asia’s best investment bank. The award was decided by Global Finance’s editors and input from analysts and industry experts.

Deals announced or completed for the last three quarters of 2005 and the first quarter of 2006 were considered. The winners of the awards will be honoured at an awards ceremony in New York on June 21.

In the awards, Citigroup also picked up best global investment bank, best investment bank in North America, best investment bank in the US and best M&A bank for Central and Eastern Europe.
