Take Solutions acquires two US-based firms

TAKE Solutions Ltd., a technology enabled business solutions company with leadership in the Supply Chain Management and Life Sciences vertical, today announced the acquisition of two US based companies - OnSphere Corporation and Applied Clinical Intelligence, LLC (ACI). While OnSphere Corporation, an emerging leader in regulatory compliant web-based Pharma solutions, has been acquired for a sum of USD $2.75 million, Applied Clinical Intelligence LLC, providers of clinical research solutions to pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, accounted for USD $2.4 million. According to the terms and conditions, TAKE Solutions will acquire these two companies in an all cash deal. Onsphere is a 100% acquisition and TAKE has a 51% stake in ACI.
With this acquisition of OnSphere Corporation, TAKE Solutions will be able to enhance its FDA compliant Document Management Systems complementary to TAKE’s current product offering viz. SubmitSPL and Submit-eCTD. As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and Digital Pharma Member Company, OnSphere has successfully deployed solutions throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe. The acquisition will enable TAKE Solutions’ to leverage this expertise.
The incorporation of ACI into TAKE Solutions will strengthen its clinical data management, analysis and reporting capabilities enabling TAKE to build on products like safety data marts, safety dashboards and clinical data marts. ACI’s highly qualified team, with deep domain knowledge in Life Sciences will also be an asset to TAKE Solutions.

Life Sciences is an important vertical in the TAKE Solutions’ portfolio with over 45 per cent of its revenues coming from it. OnSphere and ACI have an established track record and complement our competencies. Take Solutions works with leading companies across the world including Pfizer, Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, Quintiles Transnational, Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, and GlaxoSmithKline to name a few. The acquisition of US companies will enable it to further extend its product offerings for the life sciences vertical besides giving exposure to more customers.
