Hyundai launches special scheme for women buyers

Hyundai Motor India Ltd., the second largest car manufacturer in the country, has announced a special scheme targeted at women buyers across India to encourage car ownership among the fairer sex.
As a part of HMIL’s Special Women Scheme, women customers can now avail of specialized loan packages like free Third Year Warranty and other women-friendly features on purchase of new Hyundai cars. Valid from February 12 to February 28, 2007, the scheme is available on all Hyundai Santro and Getz models. The offer is available through a tie-up with 14 leading banks and auto finance companies as the scheme’s finance partners.
Currently, ICICI Bank has announced a special car loan product for woman as a part of which women car buyers will get special benefits like lower interest than the published rack rate, lower processing fee, waivers on foreclosure charges, discounts on gold purchases from ICICI Bank and free credit card & savings account.
According to Mr. Arvind Saxena, VP, Marketing & Sales, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., “With the number of women car buyers on the rise in the country, automobile companies are out wooing the women with loan schemes and other distinctive offers. The Santro and the Getz are considered women friendly cars and we are pleased to offer this special scheme to all women drivers across the country.”
