How to arrange the Bibliography?

During the course
of your project work, you would have referred several materials. It becomes
important to logically arrange your reference in the bibliography section of
the project work since that forms indirectly part of your exhibition in terms
of your depth of research. In general, the
following will be the order in which the type of reference will appear in the
bibliography page: Journals Periodicals Books Reports Documents Occasional Papers Working Papers Theses Dissertations Monographs Project Works Dailies Online Resources Let us view few
examples on how to write the references. Journals and Periodicals (where the name of the
author is not found) You will leave a
line in the place of name and the journal name will be in italics. Put the
title of the article in double quotes. See below for an example: _______________ :
“The Complete Recommendations of the Janakiraman Committee on Examining the
Securities Transactions of Banks”, Chartered
Financial Analyst, Vol.8, No.8, August 1993, pp.22-27. Journals and Periodicals (where the name of the
author is available) Author name will
be in upper case and the name of the journal will be in italics. Put the
title of the article in double quotes. See below for an example: Engle, R.F.:
“Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity with Estimates of the Variance
of United Kingdom Inflation”, Econometrica,
Vol.50, No.4, July 1982, pp.987-1007. Books (where the name of the author is not found) You will leave a
line in the place of name and the title of the book will be in italics. See
below for an example: ____________________:
Stock Exchanges in Books (where the name of the author is available) Name of the
author will be in upper case. Title of the book will be in italics. See below
for an example: GUPTA, O.P.: Behaviour of Share Prices in Reports/Documents/Occasional and Working Papers
(where the name of the author is not found) You will leave a
line in the place of name. Report or document will be in italics. See below
for an example: _______________: Daily Official Quotation List of the Reports/Documents/Occasional and Working Papers
(where the name of the author is available) Name of the
author will be in upper case. Report or Working Paper will be in italics. See
below for an example: SEN, TAPAS: Determination of Share Prices in India: An
Analysis of the Aggregate Time Trend, Working Paper, No. 32, National
Institute of Public Finance and Policy, New Delhi, August 1987. Theses/Dissertations Name of the
author will be in upper case. Title of the Thesis or Dissertation will be in
italics. See below for an example: RAMACHANDRAN, G.:
Behaviour of Share Prices – A
Statistical Analysis, Ph.D. Thesis, Institute of Financial Management and
Research, Chennai, November 1989. Monographs Name of the
author will be in upper case. Title of the Monograph will be in italics. See
below for an example: ANITA MAJUMDER: Lecture Notes on ARCH, GARCH and ARCH-M
Models, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkatta, June 19 – Project Reports Name of the
author will be in upper case. Title of the Project Report will be in italics.
See below for an example: JAYASHREE, R.: Stock Scam and its Consequences in India, Department
of Political Science, Presidency College, Chennai, April 1993. Dailies You will give the
name of the daily in italics. See below for an example: The Economic Times. Online
Resources When you add
online or web resources to your bibliography, do not just give the index or
home page, but provide the complete page location information, so that the
reader could visit the page for any references, if required. Also, mention the
author name in upper case and the tile of the article in italics. See below for an

years in Urban (Do not just
